My iPad goes to sleep during our Zoom
- Settings > Display & Brightness > Auto Lock > 15 minutes or Never (iPad)
- Remember after Zoom meeting to set Auto Lock to 5/10/15 minutes before it goes to sleep.
How do I change my name in the Zoom app on my computer?
- Open Zoom to the Join a Meeting screen
- Tap the blue button Join a Meeting
- This screen has a field for Meeting ID and Name
- Tap on the field for Meeting ID and choose iPad Basics (with current meeting id)
- Tap Done
- Tap the Name and then type your preferred name or nickname
- Tap the blue Join button
- Type the meeting password
- Tap Continue
- A prompt for audio connection appears - choose Wifi or Cellular Data to hear the meeting. (If you are attending on two devices, tap the No Audio button.)
Change your name in Zoom on iPad
- Tap the Participants button
- Tap your name at the top of the list
- Tap Rename button
- Type your name or nickname
- Tap Done button
- Tap the Participants button to hide the list
