Attend Zoom on computer	and have your iPhone or iPad close by but do not attend the meeting on both a computer and mobile device. The audio will echo and be very distracting.

Settings app (gear icon)	is an important app to use in this class. You want to have it available on your Home Screen.
About your device …	Open gear icon - Settings > scroll to General & tap > tap About > … for all details (Name, Software Version, Model Name, Model Number, Serial Number and more.) You will want this information when calling/contacting Apple Support.
Set a passcode	on your device to unlock it or use Face ID if available for your iPhone or iPad.
Apple ID	info on setting password or finding your Apple ID - use the Search field at https://support.apple.com to find all the revenant articles. You need one Apple ID (like your driver’s license - one ID) and password for all your Apple interactions: App Store, Book Store, Music/iTunes Store, etc.

App Store	Books app - Kindle app and Libby app
Kindle and Audible (audio books) from Amazon	these Amazon subscription services recognize your Amazon ID for purchases and the Apple apps can download your ebooks (print/screen) or audio books to your device.
Apple Gift Card	available at grocery or pharmacy checkout to pay for apps, music or books
Books app by Apple	Search for User Guide for iPhone and iPad - FREE, tap Get and follow on-screen instructions. If you see “Double Click …” this means double click the side button to confirm download/purchase.

If you are seeing a spinning icon …	Then the services are busy - try again later. This could be slow Internet on your end or many people accessing services at the other end.
Face ID	Read about devices that support Face ID https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT209183
Face ID	Can toggle off “Require Attention to Face ID”  (under Settings/Face ID and Passcode).  Allows you to not have the phone directly in front of face, but still needs to be a little tilted toward you. Experiment to see if this setting is “right for you.”
