Confusion on where to keep your Zoom Meeting links
Invitations come in email but we all get so many emails it is hard to find what I need in the next 5 minutes. Two options come to mind, the Calendar app and the Notes app.

  4. "Container Gardening"
Tip: in each Note for Zoom add a unique word to maximize Home Screen “Spotlight” search, for example ‘belladonna’ is not a term in my other notes - specific to a flower. Maybe not a good unique word for a gardener.

From any Home Screen swipe down between app icons to bring up Spotlight Search. Type your unique word > when Notes item appears tap Search in App to reveal all notes with unique word

Next semester - delete all these old notes, and add new ones!

Some people read their email using a web browser like Safari or Firefox or Google Chrome. Here is information to test selecting text on a web page and saving it to a Note page.

I just love working with this team to introduce features for new users of iPads and iPhones. Because I always learn new things myself. Sometimes I just use obvious features of an app. But because of this class we dig a little deeper and look at what is new. There are always things to learn about familiar apps.

You will learn more about the Notes app in other sessions.  Plus you can re-read the entry from Spring 2020 covering the Reminders and Notes apps
